This policy explains what personal data Solartec ("we", "us") collects on this website, why, and what rights you have. Our address is 16192 Coastal Highway, Lewes, DE 19958, and you can reach us at info@solartec.group.

What we collect

• Contact form. Your name, email address, the type of business you represent and your message, plus company name and phone number if you choose to give them.
• Newsletter. Your email address, if you subscribe, together with the date you confirmed. We only add you after you click the confirmation link we email you.
• Server logs. Our hosting provider records the IP address, browser type, pages visited and time of each visit, as every web server does. We use these logs only to keep the site secure and working.

We do not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers on this site. See our cookie policy.

How we use it

• To answer your enquiry and, if you are a distributor, reseller or installer, to set up a business relationship with you.
• To send you the newsletter you asked for. Every issue has an unsubscribe link.
• To protect the site against abuse and to comply with the law.

For visitors in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, the legal basis is your consent (newsletter) and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and running the site securely.

Who we share it with

• Hosting. The site and its contact form run on servers operated by IONOS, which processes data on our behalf.
• Fonts. The site loads its typeface from Google Fonts. When a page opens, your browser requests the font files from Google's servers, which receive your IP address in the process. Google's privacy policy applies to that request.

We do not sell personal data and we do not share it with anyone else unless the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Contact form messages are kept for up to 24 months after our last exchange, so we can follow up. Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe. Server logs are deleted by the hosting provider within a few weeks.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to show you the data we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to stop using it. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter through the link in any issue or by writing to us. If you are in the EEA or UK you also have the right to complain to your data protection authority.

Security

Data is sent to us over an encrypted connection and stored on access-controlled systems. No transmission over the internet is completely secure, so please do not send us confidential information through the form.

Children

This site is aimed at businesses. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

Changes

If we change this policy, the new version will be published here with a new date at the top.
